probeware voucher.

The Computing Science Exploration Grant Program presented by Fourier Systems, will begin on June 30, 2008 and end on January 1, 2009. Providing an opportunity for teachers to receive science-focused tools to implement in their classroom to increase student learning in math and science, Fourier Systems is hosting a “matching grant” program, for one grand prize winner and three runner ups, enabling educators to incorporate technology into their classroom for half the cost . 

Grand Prize: The overall prize will award 20-30 Nova5000 machines, equipping an entire science and math computing classroom or laboratory. Through the “matching grant” program, half of the Nova5000s will be given to the winner, while the other half must be sold at retail cost. In addition, a US$500 voucher for Fourier Systems probeware will be awarded. Fourier Systems has a selection of more than 65 probes for conducting science experiments.

Runners Up: The three finalists will each receive a US$500 voucher for Fourier probeware.

Program: Entries will consist of a completed application that presents the project objective, a description of the project and a summary of how the project will be implemented. Only one applicant per institution is allowed. Entries must be completed in English. It is recommended that educators obtain approval of their project from their school principal or equivalent administrator prior to entering the program.

To submit an entry, please complete the online entry form, type or paste answers into the space provided and follow the steps to complete, save and submit your final entry. Entries must be received at Sponsor’s server by 11:59 PM ET on January 1, 2009.
